Tikhon was sentenced several times to a total of 45 days of arrest for participating in unauthorized mass events. After serving his arrest, he was transferred to Minsk and then on December 3 was sent to the Zhodino pre-trial detention center. Tikhon, together with Sofia Malashevich, painted the shields of special barriers with a spray can.
