Defendant in the criminal case initiated after the protest action on September 23, when Alyaksandr Lukashenka was inaugurated in Minsk. A case was initiated against Huseynov, as well as his friend Ovcharov, under three articles of the Criminal Code.
Ovcharova and Huseynov were found guilty of calling for participation in the riots, which had been planned in advance under the guise of mass events, and blocked communications on September 23 from 21.00 to 23.00.
